Howard Steel was founded as a small three person steel fabricator by Kenneth Howard Westlund, Jr. in 1974.  Mr. Westlund grew the company to approximately 30 employees over 40 years.  In 2004, the second generation of family entered the business to help sustain the continued excellence of quality and trust established by Mr. Westlund.  In 2011, family member Nicholas Gibbons became the new President to lead the Company forward for the next generation.
